Yesterday we laughed together, today we weep. Why so sad? Our friends the Russos are moving. We spent most of today at my sister Jessica’s house saying goodbye to Mara, Rob and their 5 boys. Here is the happy couple just an hour before the tears began to flow.![]()
I would like it if you would join me in my prayer of Thanksgiving and Petion. Dear Lord, Thank you for having given me the gift of friendship with Rob and Mara, for opening their hearts with generosity in sharing their knowledge and passion for You Lord and Your Church. Lord please keep them safe and bring them the joy and peace that only You can give. I also ask that the Blessed Mother may continue to wrap them in her mantle keeping them always close to her heart and in doing so close to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Mara, Rob, boys you are in our prayers. Mara, I will never again eat “our cheese” without thinking of you and longing for your kitchen, eating all your yummies. Rob thank you for inspiring me to always remember all is but a gift from God. John David my “son” I look forward to visiting each other. You will always hold a special part in my heart. Robbie, Max, Dominic and Peter my children will always remember the great times they had playing and roughing with you. We will miss you all very much.

(By the way, I love the new look of your blog and the family picture is precious! Also loved reading your life story. What a beautiful testimony!)
Love,
Jane
Sussette, Can you belive that I just now saw this? I can’t thank you enough for your kind words, and I, too, thank God for letting me know you and your precious family. BTW, I love your site. Thank you for being a light in this dark world. I miss you terribly, and hope to see you soon.
Love, Mara
