Wow! What a week. My sister Carrie and her children (Gabby and Blake), my brother Andrew, my friend Thalia from S.Florida and her family (hubby Mike and 3 of their 7 children, Julia, Calista and Jack jack) and my dad came for a visit.
We swam, tubed, picnicked, talked, laughed, slept-very little, visited, milked goats, climbed trees, played T-ball, ate and basically hung out together. I think everyone had a great time. Here are some pictures of the week.
FYI all pics on my blog can be enlarged by clicking on them and you can also click on any underlined word to go to a web page about that subject.
Tubing on the Ichetucknee.
Swimming in the yard.
Hanging out and eating. Mmmmmmmm!
Anyone for baseball? Pat might have married me because I can throw a football like a boy but I have to say my baseball is pretty good too ;-) Please note, even the goats got in on the fun. Lilly was on first base but was called for runner interference, she kept standing on the plate
Family Picture Time
Just for fun.
During this same time I have had to say goodbye yet again. :-( This time to my friend Tammy and her family. They have moved to S.C. She is one of those friends that I know distance can not separate. When I have great news I can’t wait to share she is always one of the first people I think of. When I have very sad news again she is one of the first shoulders I know will be there for a tear. Please join me in a Hail Mary and St. Michael for them and their new home.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
Here we are at our girls night out goodbye dinner.
She is also the most talented artist I have ever known. As soon as she has settled into her new home I will post a link to her new web page where I hope she will make available to everyone the beautiful Catholic toys she has made for her children and the few of us fortunate enough to know her.

I love the picture of Max asleep in the raft. Would you believe I have a picture of his “twin” asleep in our canoe during our recent family canoe trip?!
