This morning, like many mornings, I was checking my email before the day began. Joshua was in the bathroom. I could see him because the bathroom is right across from my computer and he left the door open. So his deciding to take an early morning bath was cute but not alarming. Until……… “Look, Mom, the toad likes it.” Apparently, he thought the toad would like to go for a swim. The water must have looked inviting because he decided to join the toad in our bathtub. AUGH!!! Not that I mind a toad in the house (believe it or not, I am OK with that) however, I draw the line at bathing with such a critter. After much negotiating, AKA - ”please”, “just for a minute”, “but he thinks its fun”, “please”, “why”, “but I want to”, and a few “but, I don’t care”, my steadfast “Get out of the tub and put the toad away!” prevailed.
All Souls Day - Prayer for the Poor Souls in Purgatory
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. And let the perpetual light shine upon them. And may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
